Yoga & The Mind Workshops

Kyo Yoga & Healing

Yoga Sutra 2.16 ‘Developing the capacity to anticipate, prevent or reduce suffering must be acquired.’

Anxiety and depression are prevalent for most of us at some point in life but we are rarely taught the tools to navigate these times.
Yoga and Psychology are modalities that both address the ever changing nature of the Mind –  habits, patterns, beliefs – and offer solutions to being stuck in the cycle of suffering.

Yoga as a discipline of self empowerment starts with the body and breath, as a way to access understanding the Mind.
Psychology begins with addressing the cognitive thoughts and behaviours that may be causing us suffering.
Together they offer a clinically proven approach to understanding the whole being,  offering a ‘top down’, ‘bottom up’ approach to wellness.

These workshops are aimed offering solutions to better living and finding contentment amidst the challenges of life.

Each session will comprise:

  • Restorative Yoga/Breath practice suitable for all levels to promote inner awareness and connection to self.
  • Presentation around the nature of Mind from a Psychology/and Yoga perspective, offering insights into how we think and examining how we may shift perspective to experience create greater joy.
