Finding Lightness – Yoga & Meditation Retreat

Finding Lightness – Yoga & Meditation Retreat

Kyo Yoga & Healing

Change and growth require time and space.

Yoga teaches us that we need to create space first in order to receive.  Removing energy that is stagnant so that we can welcome a new and purposeful vitality into body and mind is the first step.
A time to reset our wellbeing and intention moving forward.

The transition from Summer to Autumn triggers change within body and mind. As the elements outside of us transition so to do those within.
Summer to Autumn is a time to nourish the Vata element that governs air and movement so that we prepare ourself adequately for the cooler months.
When Vata is dominant we can feel ungrounded, disconnected and susceptible to pain, inflammation and other health conditions. Anxiety and stress can be alleviated.

Understanding how the body and mind interact and implementing small changes to self care can have a profound effect. This retreat will offer teachings from Yogic Philosophy as well as Ayurveda (the sister science of Yoga) in allowing the mind to find space and perspective, stepping into new patterns and ways of thinking.

Join Jill on this balancing weekend encompassing Yoga, Meditation, Mantra and Ayurvedic Philosophy grounded in the ancient Vedic teachings through the Krishnamacharya lineage. Enjoy the company of like minded yoga practitioners who are interested in diving a little deeper into the benefits and wisdom of yoga.
