Learn mindfulness meditation at this half-day workshop, “Awakening Joy”, with Suzie Brown, founder of Avista Mindfulness.
Stress and anxiety can overwhelm us at difficult times of our life, yet joy and contentment are always possible if we know how to find it.
At this workshop you will learn practices that will enable you to find peace and joy even through stressful times.
Based on the international course and book, Awakening Joy, this workshop will introduce you to the skills and meditations to:
- Develop healthy states of mind that lead to genuine happiness.
- Notice the good feeling in your body and mind that accompanies these states and let your awareness enjoy it.
- Keep practicing this so that it becomes a natural habit.
The workshop will include short meditations and everyday mindfulness skills that you can use to feel happier and calmer at any time.
After the workshop you’ll receive audio guided meditations to take home and continue to practice – to really bring joy into your life!
